Will be interesting to see if thier players like merge or just move on to other established sites.Merge really needs to build there player base so they can hold larger buy-in tournies otherwise i think they will be swallowed up by the larger sites.

Love their software, always have, but they do need a larger player base.

I like the player base they have.Bigger Player Base means more players in the gntd
tournys but there isnt many playing Stud hi lo or other cash games so I guess a larger player base would be good for the cash games.

Good For the Network the bigger the Player base the more $$$ they make and can keep growing but I like the smaller sites with gntd and money added games with less players.

There have been numerous rumours floating around that they have bought Merge, and others that they just bought a large chunk of it. I tend to think they may now own a large piece of the pie. With the entire Merge Network (40+ rooms) only having an average real money player base of a couple hundred, and Sportsbook alone having approximately three times that I find it not hard to believe at all.

Not played in months, and I know this move just went into effect on the 15th but has anyone noticed any change at all in the player base ? A long time staff member at Merge said, and I quote, "5pm our time right before the switch 2500 players, 24 hours later 5000. Seems like a move in the right direction!".
I'm hoping this continues to be the case.
